“At the time, I didn’t really want to get my photo taken. I’d put on lots of weight, my clothes were all packed for an overseas move and being in between houses meant I didn’t even have my own space to get ready in. But I really needed new content and headshots for my new business.

Eliza made me feel like getting some photos taken was not a big deal. No fuss or fancy preparation or pressure, just casual. Calm, fun, like hanging out with a friend, chatting and laughing.

The result was laid back photos that really do look like me.

Eliza captured my energy perfectly. As well as took some really flattering photos of my new older and more rounded body that actually made me gasp and then cry.

There’s something to be said about capturing the ordinary. So many times we just let life pass us by without marking the seemingly mundane, until one day, we are old, our kids grown and we realise that the best times in our lives, were the ordinary ones. “
